Important Information

Terms

Appointments

  • Appointments are booked in advance, on Ovatu system.

  • All details are kept as per Data Protection Policy and in accordance with the ICO.

 

Cancellation results in the following charges

  • No Show – 100% cancellation charge of treatment missed - next treatment will require 50% deposit to secure booking.

  • Less 24 hours – 75% cancellation charge of treatment booked unless rescheduled within next month, this charge will be used against the treatments new date. 

  • Within 48 hours - 50% 

  • No treatments will commence with any therapist unless the outstanding fee is paid. 

  • 3 no shows / late cancellation you will be struck off our customer list, unless you agree to payment in full on booking every treatment. 

Microblading, Microneedling, Mesotherapy have own cancellation policy

  • Deposit £50.00 taken at time of consultation / booking

  • Failure to show or less than 24-hour cancellation then 100% charge will be applied. 50% treatment deposit will be required to book new date.

  • No refunds on deposit if change mind less than 24 hours before booked appointment.

Consultations / Personal Information

  • We require yourself as a customer to provide accurate information in relation to your current health and medication. This is so we can provide appropriate care to you.

  • We ask for any allergies or sensitivities that you know of or have. This is for your safety.

  • Any false information could result in reactions or harm although the upmost professionalism and care will be taken.

  • We require a signature for any form filling to confirm your compliance.

 

Payments

  • Payments can be made, Cash, Card, Bank Transfer.

Insurance

All treatments are fully insured by either ABT Insurance or Insync Insurance PLC. We are also members in the British Beauty Council and members of The Guild of Beauty Therapy.

Complaints

If the occasion arises where you are dissatisfied then please speak to Natalie immediately to try and resolve any issues. Alternatively, you can put into writing to Miss Natalie Henson, Regent Beauty Clinic, 37 High street, Barwell, LE9 8DS.

Happy Policy 

  • We wan you to be happy with your experience at Regent Beauty Clinic so if you’re not 100% happy tell us and we will try our upmost to improve our service

 

Email / Text Messaging

  • We use email marketing and text message reminders. If you wish to opt out then please use the unsubscribe button or ask management to remove your number from the system.

  • You can reply via text but they are not always seen instantly, we will respond so please be patient.

Microblading

  • Failure to have your patch test may result in your treatment cancelled and costs being incurred.

  • If you react to any patch test Regent Beauty Clinic needs to be notified so we can account for this on your record.

  • If you experience a reaction you need to seek help immediately either from a Chemist, GP, 111 or 999 depending on how bad the reaction is. You can call me and show me for guidance if needed.

Gift Vouchers

  • Gift Vouchers hold a 12-month validation date from date of purchase.

  • Refunds will not be issued on gift vouchers, credit can be given as a good will gesture. 

  • Can be added onto an account as credit to use against treatments only.

 

Photographic Agreement

Photos of treatments may be taken before and after, this is to

  • A, help with your perspective of the treatment to show differences

  • B, show as evidence for transformation treatments such as CACI, Microblading, lifts, nail progression

  • C, for Regent Beauty Clinic promotional resources

All photos will be tasteful and can be cropped / edited to suit clients wishes

Social Media Agreement

  • Photos agree to be taken will appear on social media or Regent Beauty Clinics website for marketing material

Refunds

  • Refunds are only issued at the discretion of the management on individual cases or against faulty retail products.

Privacy Policy

We ensure all your personal details and consultation forms are stored and filed in accordance with the latest GDPR regulations.  Please inform us of address, phone and medical changed so we ca keep our records up to date not only for being contactable but for health and insurance purposes. 

Children in the Clinic

Under our insurance policy and for safety we advise that children are not brought into the salon. It can be a dangerous environment with many chemicals and electrical equipment about. We cannot accept guardian to your children why you have your treatment. This is also for consideration of other clients enjoying the relaxing environment that we try and create. If for any reason you cannot reschedule your appointment and need to bring your child please inform them clinic before your arrival.

 

Parking

There is a free 1 hour parking bay outside the clinic. Or there is ample parking in the free car park at the George Ward Center round the corner, that is a 5 minute walk. 

Age Restrictions

The age restrictions are guided by the Beauty Industry and Insurance but also my professional opinion and Clinic rules.

Treatments that’s are allowed but must be accompanied by a responsible Adult for UNDER 16 - eyebrow wax, half leg wax, mini facial, manicure, pedicure only This is management discretion.

  • Waxing - 16 Years +

  • Intimite Waxing - 18 years +

  • Gel Polish & Polygel Nails - 16 years +

  • Manicure / Pedicure - 14 years +

  • Tinting - 16 Years +

  • Eyelash Extensions - 17 Years +

  • Eyelash Lifting / Brow Lamination - 17 years +

  • Advanced skincare - 18 years +

  • CACI - 18 years +

  • Microblading - 18 years +

  • Monu skincare facials - 14 years +

  • Massage - 18 years +

Patch Testing

Patch Testing is required on all the following treatments, failure to comply will result in treatment being cancelled and possibly charged. This is for your own safety and working with industry guidelines.

  • Microblading

  • Individual Eyelash Extensions

  • Hybrid Eyelash Extensions

  • Russian Eyelash Extensions

  • Express Lashes

  • Cluster Lashes

  • Eyelash Perming / Lifting (Lash Bomb) 

  • Eyebrow Lamination (Brow Bomb) 

  • Eyebrow or Eyelash Tinting 

Advanced Skincare Aftercare

Having a good aftercare routine and daily routine, will co-inside with any skincare treatment you receive.

Replenishing and nourishing the skin daily will boost your overall results.

 

A good skincare routine will consist of:

  • Facewash / Micellar water

  • Double Cleanse

  • Toner

  • Exfoliate (every 3-4 days if allowed)

  • Serum / Oils

  • Eyecare & lip creams

  • SFP

  • Moisturiser (can have added SPF)

  • Drinking lots of water (8 glasses a day)

LED Light Therapy

There is no specific aftercare although skin may appear a little pink.

Microneedling / Mesotherapy

In order to get the best from this treatmnets you need to follow the below for 48 hours

  • No Make-up

  • No perfume products

  • No skin lotions

  • No heat steam showers

  • No gym

  • No sun beds- up to 7 days

  • No other skin treatmnets 814 days

·Re-book in for 4-6 weeks time

CACI

With CACI there is no down time. You can out your makeup back on and carry on with your day. You may experience some redness but that’s because your face/bum has just had a work out.

As with all CACI Facials all your products work better for you and they absorb deeper into the skin therefor making the products work for you.

Dermaplaning / Ultrasonic microtherapy

For 2-5 days after treatment the treated area may experience the following symptoms:

  • Flaking

  • Tenderness

  • Dryness and itching

  • Redness

  • Use a gentle cleanser

  • No not expose the areas to extreme heat or cold until healed.

  • This includes sun beds, tanning beds, saunas etc.

  • Do not use makeup for 24 hours

  • No exfoliating for 1 week after treatment

  • Moisturise morning & evening

Dermapeel / Cinderella / Carboxytherapy 

With the resurface and peel system there is some aftercare advise you need to follow:

  • No make-up 24 hours

  • No exfoliation for 7 days

  • No sunbeds / sunbathing for 7 days

  • Moisturise day and night

  • Tenderness

  • Gentle cleanser after 24 hours

Covid-19

We understand your concerns, so we have outdone ourselves in preparing our business for you, the safety of our staff and our customers is essential to us, so we have:

 

  • Cleaned and or disinfected surfaces and implements

  • Laundered and disinfectant all towels

  • Removed any non essential throughout the business

  • Initiated contactless methods of payments and booking schedule where necessary

  • Acquired appropriate PPE for yourself and Staff to be used where necessary and upon request

  • Discontinued the practice of hand-shaking and no essential contact

  • Introduced a one in, one out policy

  • Provide baskets for personal belongings

  • Implemented hand sanitising stations

  • Added new signage to advise clinic policies for advice

  • Re-trained staff in essential infection control and hand hygiene practices

Please also be assured if any staff member tests positive or has symptoms they will be staying at home until negative / better. If we have to cancel your appointment we will endeavor to get your appointment asap. Any deposits paid will be transferred over. We appreciate the inconvenience but this is for your safety.

​Pre-Treatment advice

  • Please arrive 5 minutes before your treatments due to commence, if you need to fill in a consultation form then please be 10 minutes early to allow this process. 

  • Age restrictions apply for some treatments. Ask therapist for more information

  • Some treatments may not be possible to be taken for medical reasons, this is for the safety of the client, we do hold the right to refuse on the grounds if you are contra indicated

  • 48 Patch tests are required for certain treatment’s, failure to do so will result in treatment cancellation and possible charge.

  • We withhold the right to refuse treatment on health and safety grounds, all information collated must be true and correct at time of signature / appointment.

  • If you have any conditions or concerns please speak to therapist before treatment to allow us to assess if your ok to have treatment. This will avoid cancellation policy being enforced. 

 

Nails

  • We cannot remove or work with Acrylic due to a severe allergy with a staff member

  • We will not remove any other persons work, unless been consulted with therapist

  • Please come with a colour in mind, this can save some time :)

  • If you would like nail art then please have an idea/photo and send to Nail Technician prior to appointment to double check timings, this will also allow for the correct level to be added for payment (level 1/2/3) 

  • Please try and clean hands and nails prior to treatment (especially under free edge) 

 

Lashes

  • You can wear mascara prior to appointment but if you wear a lot please try and remove before to help with timings

  • Please care for eyelash Extensions as per information provided and try not adding mascara in between appointments as this will impact on maintenance

  • We will not infill others work, if we know the brand we can remove them using the correct method and give you a new set. 

  • They need to be kept cleaned according to the therapists aftercare. 

 

Facials

  • You can come in make up as this will be thoroughly cleansed during treatment

  • Do not use sunbeds for 48 hours before facial

  • Do not exfoliate 7 days prior to the treatment. 

 

Waxing

  • Please try and shower before appointment as showering after may cause irritation

  • If you have sun burn treatment cannot carry out.

  • If you are excessively dry then make sure your moisturising daily to avoid burns.

  • Do not exfoliate 5 days prior to waxing 

  • no sunbeds before treatment
